Colgate Cooling Crystals Get All American
Dear Reader
A reply was received to this letter explaining that the relevant department would be notified about the incorrect use of American English on a website designed for a British audience advertising the new ‘Colgate Cooling Crystals’. However, as you can see when following the link, nothing has been changed. Disgraceful!

Dear Siree /Madam
I would like to take this opportunity to point out first and foremost that I am not an American!
Please let me explain.
Having recently purchased your new ’MaxFresh’ designer toothpaste containing your patented ‘Cooling Crystals’, and being keen to learn more about this ingenious development in oral hygiene, I visited your website. It was then that I witnessed your unfortunate spelling of the word ‘flavour’. Here is the paragraph in question:
Colgate MaxFresh is available in 2 exciting flavors:
Cool Mint and Clean Mint, in tube, pump and transparent liquid formats*
*(http://www.colgate.co.uk/app/MaxFresh/UK/tp_green.cvsp)
‘FLAVOR’! – What on earth is going on?
It is a sad fact that I’m now reluctant, having been an avid Colgate fanatic since childhood, to purchase any further products from your company in the future, despite the amazing advances achieved by the Colgate Corporation in the production of artisan toothpastes on a truly global scale.
I look forward to your swift reply – GIDDYUP!
Yours faithfully
Simon Sharpe
